WATCH: Baby bear rescued from wildfire

LAKE COUNTY, FL (KTRK) -- Firefighters rescued this baby bear while battling a Florida brush fire on Thursday.

The blaze stretched more than 250 acres of Lake County.

Residents had to be evacuated but have since returned home now that the fire is completely contained.

No injuries were reported, but the bear cub was singed from the flames.

Wildlife officials are checking the cub out to make sure it's going to be okay.
