Police say a suspect walked into a northwest Houston store and terrorized an employee inside

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Crime Stoppers and police need your help to find the suspect behind an aggravated robbery earlier this month in northwest Houston.

It happened on August 7 at around 2:25pm. Police say a black male walked into the business in the 200 block of Gessner, approached a store employee and showed a semi-automatic weapon. He then reportedly ordered the clerk to open the register, but she told him she didn't have a key.

Police say the suspect then went into the back of the store and tried to get into storage cabinets where cell phones are kept and when he couldn't open, ordered the clerk to unlock the cabinets. The clerk told the suspect she didn't have the key to that either.

That's when the suspect left the store.

The suspect is approximately six feet tall and 185 pounds.
