VIDEO: Sky Eye HD captures explosion in burning SUV

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Fire crews were battling flames that engulfed a vehicle in northwest Houston Tuesday.

It happened in the driveway of a home near Southwick and Westrap. Firefighters were initially called to a house fire, but when they arrived, they discovered an SUV that was parked close to the home fully engulfed.

While Sky Eye HD was over the scene, there was a small explosion inside the SUV.

At this point, we've not heard of any injuries.
