Smash and grab suspects wanted
Surveillance cameras capture smash and grab break-in

KATY, TX (KTRK) -- A reward is being offered for information that leads police to the arrest and conviction of suspects in a smash and grab robbery in the Katy area.

It happened at around 3:25am on Monday, June 29, at the Cinco Ranch Express in the 2900 block of South Mason Road. Video from the store shows three suspects smashing into the glass front door of the business, entering and stealing boxes and cigarettes.

All three suspects were wearing long-sleeve black shirts, black pants and black tennis shoes. Two suspects had black hoods on to conceal their identities and a third suspect used a black bandana tied around his face. The third suspect is believed to be a black male.

The suspects were seen leaving the area in what may have been a Nissan Altima that was maroon or dark red in color.
