Video shows moment house was rammed by van in La Porte

LA PORTE, TX (KTRK) -- A man driving a van hit two homes in La Porte this morning, and a surveillance camera on one of those houses caught the moment of impact.

The houses are in the 10100 block of Rocky Hollow Road near Roseberry.

It appears a van struck a mail box and may have struck the garage door of one home, then went through a fence and smashed the front of another home.

The homeowner whose garage and fence were heavily damaged said the van driver took out two mailboxes down the street before he drove into the yard.

There's no word yet on whether anyone was hurt.
