Houston police are asking for the public's help to find a suspect wanted in a robbery

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man held a gun to another man's head in frightening surveillance video of a recent robbery released by Houston police in an effort to find that gunman.

The robbery happened in the 10300 block of Wilcrest about 10:20pm last Wednesday.

A 34-year-old man was in front of his apartment when the suspect suddenly ran up the stairs and pointed a gun at his head. Video shows the gunman forcing the victim to the ground and demanding his wallet. The robber then told the victim to stay down and look away as he fled down the stairs.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing and a do-rag at the time of the alleged crime. He has braids, a beard and mustache, and has tattoos on his arms.
