Victim pistol-whipped during Waffle House robbery in north Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery at a 24-hour diner in north Houston.

It happened Friday night in the parking lot of a Waffle House off Beltway and Hardy Toll Road.

Police say one person was pistol whipped during the armed robbery and transported to a hospital.
