Parties in abandoned silo cause headaches for neighbors
Neighbors of a popular performance space east of downtown Houston say teenagers are holding dangerous parties there.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Neighbors of a popular performance space east of downtown Houston say teenagers are holding dangerous parties there.

On Friday, police arrested two 19-year-olds, Raymond Alexander Soto and Jose Guadalupe Soto, for allegedly possessing drugs in the parking lot of The Silo on Clinton Drive.

Police say they also seized cocaine, marijuana and prescription pain pills from the property.

"They're smoking drugs up and down the street and drinking," said Melvin Wagner, who lives nearby. "Kids walking down the street with alcohol."

The Silo owner said he rents out the place for parties, but claims all renters have to follow strict rules. He wouldn't elaborate regarding the strict rules he imposes.

Police say they have received several complains over the past six months.
