Two wounded in mystery carjacking, kidnapping and shooting case

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for a suspect or suspects involved in a late night kidnapping and carjacking, that later turned into a shooting.

It happened around 11:30 last night, in the 21000 block of Old Ranch Road, in north Harris County. A call came in that a kidnapping and carjacking were taking place.

When deputies arrived they learned that two people had been shot. It's not clear if the shooting happened at this location or somewhere else.

The vehicle that was taken was found miles away, on the south side of Houston, off of Bellfort Street. There was no sign of a suspect.

Two victims were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
