Two people face judge on charges they set 4-year-old girl on fire in Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The two people accused of setting a little girl on fire last year are expected to face a judge.

Veronica Harris and her cousin Christen Rogers are accused of burning her four-year old niece with a lighter while she was strapped to a chair.

It happened last April while they were in a motel room off Highway 6.

The little girl told police she was strapped to the chair because she was "being bad."

She suffered burns over 30 percent of her body.

Both are charged with injury to a child.
