Two pedestrians from Conroe killed in College Station accident

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Two Conroe residents were killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in College Station on Sunday.

According to College Station Police Department, responders arrived at the scene at approximately 12:47 a.m., and witnesses said, 19-year old Daisy Estrada, and 20-year Brian Gonzalez, both of Conroe, were on the south side of University Drive at Texas A&M University when they "dashed across University" in front of a pickup truck traveling westbound on the inside lane of the street.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly had a green light as he approached the intersection of University Drive and Boyett Street.
