Bonnie weakens to a tropical depression off S. Carolina coast

Tropical Storm Bonnie has weakened into a tropical depression off the South Carolina coast.

The tropical depression is expected to move onshore this morning.

Bonnie is moving toward the north near 9mph and this general motion is expected to continue today.

A slow northeastward motion near the coast of northeastern South Carolina is expected by tonight and on Monday.
