Trooper shoots tire of truck in wild chase in SW Houston
Troopers said the chase started after reports of a stolen Ford F-250 out of Fort Bend County.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police took one person in custody after a chase that ended on Houston's southside overnight.

After a Constable Deputy attempted to stop a stolen Ford F-250, a chase ensued on SH-288. Spikes were deployed, but were ineffective.

A DPS trooper told ABC13 that they had to shoot the tires out of the Ford to stop the chase at the 59 South interchange.

They said the truck was reported stolen out of Fort Bend County.
