A trailer carrying books for children was stolen earlier this month.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Surveillance video caught three people stealing a trailer used to deliver children books to Texas Children's Hospital.

The video shows two men and a woman stealing the trailer from a non-profit group Avian Kingdom on March 3.

They used bolt cutters to break a chain, hitched it to an SUV and drove off with it.

Avian Kingdom told Eyewitness News that the trailer was empty since volunteers had just finished delivering thousands of books to Texas Children's Hospital.

Avian Kingdom is asking for your help to catch these people and on their GoFundMe page, say that they will donate an Award-Winning Avian Kingdom Storybook to one of the local youth charities after you donate.
