Three men arrested in undercover child predator sting
Three men have been arrested following an undercover child predator sting.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An undercover investigation has landed three local men under arrest, charged with solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony.

The Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office timed their investigation in order to catch any predators visiting Houston for the Super Bowl and related events. Several suspects were identified, Constable Alan Rosen said, but there was enough evidence to file charges against three men -- all from the local area.

Investigators say these men chatted on social media with people they believed to be children and made arrangements to meet up for sex.

But the people they wrote to were not children. They were actually undercover Precinct 1 deputies. The investigation was called Operation End Zone.

The following were arrested after traveling to a Houston location, reportedly believing they were meeting with an underage girl.

Kenneth A. Walker, 26, of Kendleton, Texas, was arrested on January 13.

Rodney Robles, 21, of Harris County, was arrested January 27. In addition to solicitation, he was charged with evading arrest.

Syed Shah, 24, of Sugar Land, was arrested January 31.

All three have posted bond.
