HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating another early morning smash and grab burglary.

The latest incident occurred around 3:30am at the Family Dollar Store in the 10000 block of Long Point Road in northwest Houston.

Police say thieves used a van to smash through the storefront and steal a safe that was located near the front of the building. The force of impact knocked the safe from the bolts that were holding it to the floor.

Police say surveillance video shows three men wearing masks successfully stealing the safe. Police say they sped off in a dark colored Dodge Caravan.

Those suspects are still on the loose this morning.
