Suspected smash and grab
Houston police say three or four crooks smashed a pickup truck into the back of a pharmacy, but it is unclear if the would be burglars stole anything.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Burglars smashed their way into a pharmacy, but it is still unclear if they got away with any drugs.

It happened at A-List Pharmacy on Dowling at Southmore near the Third Ward.

The front of this store has burglar bars and concrete barriers, so the thieves instead smashed a Chevy Silverado through the brick wall in the back of the business to make their way inside.

Police believe three to four burglars entered the business, and someone with the pharmacy is now taking inventory to see what, if anything, was stolen.

Police believe the crooks ran off after the alarm sounded. The truck they used to smash into the business was recovered.
