Theft, burglary calls prompt advisory for Liberty County neighborhood

LIBERTY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- An increase in theft and burglary calls has the Liberty County Sheriff's Office issuing a community advisory for people living in the Plum Grove area.

Most of the crimes are happening in the area of County Road 331 in the Monte Bellow and Bella Vista subdivisions.

Officials say theft and burglary rates may be as high as two to three incidents a week in the last couple of weeks.

Authorities say they are looking for two men driving a red, four-door pick-up truck.
