Captured: Texas most wanted sex offender arrested in Missouri
SPRINGFIELD, MO (KTRK) -- Police arrested a Texas most wanted sex offender in Missouri after more than a year on the lam.
Authorities arrested Zachary Aaron Jenkins last Wednesday at a home in Springfield, Missouri. Jenkins surrendered to police.

Jenkins was convicted in July 2015 of indecency with a child - sexual contact after an incident in Tarrant County involving a 9 year-old girl. He was sentenced to 10 years' probation, but soon after, failed to meet the requirements of his probation and his duty to register as a sex offender.
In addition to probation violation and failure to register as a sex offender, Jenkins was also wanted out of Harris County, Fort Bend County, and Hays County for forgery and fraud.
