MOSS HILL, TX (KTRK) -- After enduring several surgeries to repair his right foot, 4-year-old Tanner Hazlett of Moss Hill is set to come home in a week from Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
On June 21, Hazlett was injured when he was backed over by a riding lawnmower driven by his father, Thomas Hazlett, at the family's home in the 19000 block of SH 146 north of Moss Hill.
The child's mother, Jennifer Hazlett, said Tanner ran into the path of the lawnmower while attempting to get on to ride with his father, who was unaware of the child's movements at the time.
