Teen hit by car at movie theater in NW Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A 16-year-old was hit by a car last night at a movie theater in northwest Harris County.

It happened at the Silverado IMax Theater on Highway 249 near Northpoint.

Deputies say the teen was hit after a group of teens got into an argument in the parking lot and another driver was attempting to leave the theater.

That driver accidentally hit the 16-year old.

The teen was airlifted to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Deputies say the driver is not expected to face charges.
