Suspects on the loose after Heights break-in

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Suspects smashed into a drive-thru window at a Walgreens near the Heights Monday morning.

The attempted robbery happened at the pharmacy on W. 18th and W. TC Jester around 2:30am.

The suspects entered through the pharmacy window and surveillance video shows three males inside the store.

Police sent an officer and K9 inside, but the suspects left the scene through the window and abandoned a van nearby.

The Walgreens manager is checking inventory to see what, if anything, was taken.
