According to Houston police, for some unknown reason, two groups of men exchanged gunfire in the parking lot of the Dillard's. Bullets shattered windows and pierced cars.

Shots fired near Galleria-area Starbucks, Jessica Willey has the latest.

Soon police had two cars stopped and searched in a parking garage, and arrested Arvie and Allen. Police say most of the suspects got away.

No injuries were reported.

"Thank goodness with all the people in the Dillard's parking lot," said HPD Assistant Chief Mattie Provost, who assured visitors will be safe when they start arriving ahead of the big game on Feb. 5.

"People who will be visiting will be safe. We already have measures in place to keep people safe in this city," Provost added.
