Suspected serial shoplifters arrested at Target store

SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- A pair of shoplifting suspects were caught red-handed Wednesday at a Spring-area Target store.

According to investigators, the suspects loaded up shopping carts with electronics and a large package of baby diapers. As the suspects tried to take off in their stolen truck, deputies arrived on the scene.

One of the suspects took off on foot.

"He got out and started running," Deanna Derocher said. "Here comes the constables and they put the dog on him, the dog caught and bit him."

The suspect was taken to an emergency room the K9 bite. The other suspect was arrested at the store.

Investigators believe the pair could be responsible for an earlier shoplifting case at a Target store in Atascocita.
