Deputies: Suspect taken into custody after chase through Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A suspect is in custody after taking authorities on a chase through Houston Sunday afternoon.

Harris County deputies said the chase started around 3:20 p.m. after the vehicle driven by the suspect was reported stolen. The chase initially started near West Montgomery Road and West Mount Houston, but ended at the Beltway 8 and 249.

According to investigators, a K-9 unit was able to take down the suspect.

No other details have been released.
