HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators need your help to identify a man wanted in a string of drug store armed robberies in southwest Harris County and the city of Houston.

The dates of robberies are between August 9 and August 19 of this year. Detectives say the suspect, armed with a handgun, has hit as many as 28 Walgreens and CVS pharmacies in that span of time.

"It's not a comforting fact but that stuff happens," said customer Russell Van Kraayenburg.

Another customer, Kim Robinson, helps care for an elderly woman and told us the prospect of walking in on such a brazen crime is frightening.

"Its definitely scary. Especially with her. She's 88 years old. I would hate to be in the mix of all that," Robinson said.

Investigators describe the suspect as Asian or Hispanic, 30 to 40 years of age. He is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs between 130 to 150 pounds.

He has brown or black colored hair and a mustache.

The suspect is known to have driven a dark colored Honda or Infinity, and also a pickup truck in the 11220 Louetta Drive robbery.
