Stolen vehicle suspicion leads to police chase in north Houston

HOUSTON -- Three men are on the run and another is in jail after an alleged carjacking and chase in north Houston.

Police say it all started with a carjacking Saturday morning.

Late last night, Houston police say an officer spotted the stolen car near the North Freeway and Airline.

When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, the driver kept going which sparked a short chase. The chase came to an end when the suspect slammed into a utility pole.

Four men got out of the car and ran. One was arrested and the others got away.
