Sister of Baytown murder victim pleads for justice
The sister of a pregnant woman found dead is pleading for justice.

BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- Bridgette Hunt still can't believe her older sister Rose Maria is gone.

"When you think of Rose, you think of roses. They are beautiful. She was a beautiful person," said Hunt.

Rose, who was eight and a half months pregnant, was found dead in February on Tri-City Road in Baytown. Police have determined she was shot once.

Investigators initially arrested David Galindo in connection with Rose's murder, but two additional people are now charged in the murder plot.

Detectives and Hunt's family believe 23-year-old Derrick Metcalf was the father of her child.

"Most of my family knows him. I went to his house and he offered to give me money for the memorial service to help with the funeral. To turn out he had a part in it and I actually went inside this man's house scares me," Bridgette said.

Daizy Costello, 18, is also accused of being present with Metcalf during the planning, which allegedly involved paying Galindo $1,500 to carry out the crime.

"Who would kill a pregnant woman? I don't think they should have any sympathy on them at all," Bridgette said.

A couple allegedly hired a hitman to kill a pregnant woman for $1500 in Baytown.

She last saw her sister at her baby shower. She had picked the name Jacobi for her son, a child the family never got to meet.

"I want justice for her," Bridgette said.
