Lock down lifter for neighborhoods
Lock down is over after police give "all clear" in southwest Houston.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- UPDATE: HISD Superintendent of the Houston Independent School District, Richard Carranza tweeted:

The Houston Police Department is responding to an officer-involved shooting near the 8200 block of Sterlingame Street.

HPD reports that two to three suspects are still on the loose and are possibly armed.

Residents in the following area were being asked to shelter-in-place:

South of Bellfort Avenue

West of Gessner Drive

North of W Airport Blvd

East of Beltway 8/Sam Houston Tollway
