'Shark Tank' star Robert Herjavec throws party for boy who had prosthetic leg stolen
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (KTRK) -- "Shark Tank" star Robert Herjavec got married Sunday night to his old "Dancing with the Stars" partner, Kym Johnson. But by late Monday morning, Herjavec was at The Saddle Ranch Chop House in West Hollywood to throw a party for 4-year-old Liam Brenes who had his prosthetic leg stolen.
Liam's story of his prosthetic leg being stolen from the sand of an Orange County beach captured many of hearts, with Herjavec included among them.

Herjavec called ABC7 immediately after seeing Liam's story and said he wanted to help.
He also wanted to meet Liam and that is why he threw the party.
ABC7 Entertainment Guru George Pennacchio asked Herjavec why he planned the lunch just one day after his wedding.
"It's that important to me," Herjavec said. "If we have an opportunity to help, why wouldn't we? And he's such a good kid."

Herjavec went out and bought toys, including many Legos, for Liam and his older brothers.
"He is the most positive kid," Herjavec said. "He is 4 years old. Something like this happens to him and he's got such a great outlook on life."
Liam and his family brought gifts for Herjavec and for Michael Metichecchia, the man who used his contacts to have Liam's new prosthetic leg made in less than two days.
"He's going to grow and he's going to require them (prosthetic legs) quite often and it would be our absolute pleasure to do so," Metichecchia, who owns Essential Orthodics & Prosthetics, told ABC7.
Metichecchia had more good news during the celebration.
"We're going to try to get him sponsored. We're going to try to get him picked up by some of our companies and manufacturers and, yes, we're going to try and do them for free," Metichecchia explained.
"This unfortunate event has turned into something amazing for my son and he is just thrilled beyond belief right now," Liam's mother, Amanda McFarland, said.
The boy was also thrilled to meet Noah Galloway, a veteran who was injured in Iraq. Galloway knows Herjavec from their time on "Dancing with the Stars" and wanted to meet Liam after hearing Herjavec speak of him.
"His future is very bright," Galloway said. "And he's going to do more impressive things than I ever could have imagined I could do."
Liam not only got a new prosthetic leg and toys, with Herjavec, he also got a new friend.
"He's so cool," Liam said.
The fun for Liam was not over yet. Herjavec was planning to treat his family to a VIP experience at Disneyland in the near future.
