Robbery suspects open fire inside Spring restaurant
Investigators say three robbery suspects may have held up a second restaurant in Spring overnight

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- There were some tense moments overnight as robbery suspects opened fire inside a Spring pizza restaurant.

Just before midnight, investigators said three armed men entered the Pizza Hut on I-45 near Rayford-Sawdust, and demanded money.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said they were not alone, either. Inside the lobby were several customers who ended up seeing the whole thing.

At one point, one of the suspected robbers fired a shot through the wall of the restaurant.

No one was hurt, and we are not yet certain what the suspects got away with.

Investigators have not released any details about the suspects, what they looked like or what vehicle they may have used to get away.

Deputies said three robbery suspects in Spring may have targeted two pizza restaurants in the area

But, deputies told Eyewitness News they believe these three robbers may have also hit a Little Caesar's pizza restaurant on FM 2920 and Holzwarth before they held up the Pizza Hut.

Again, there are no descriptions of these suspects yet. We'll bring you new details as we get them.
