Police: Thief used prepaid card to steal from Pasadena convenience store

PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- Police need your help finding a man accused of stealing $400 with his prepaid Visa card in Pasadena.

The man was caught on surveillance camera at a convenience store, where he asked the clerk to load $400 onto the card.

When the clerk asked for the money, police say he pretended not to have enough and left saying he would return with the money. He was not seen again.

The clerk attempted to cancel the transaction only to discover the money had already been transferred to another card.
