KINGWOOD, TX (KTRK) -- Two out of four men are still on the run after police say they walked into a T-Mobile store in Kingwood last night wearing masks and carrying guns while customers were in the store.

One person who drove up to the store and saw what was happening decided to follow the suspects as they attempted to flee.

Houston police say this all happened around 8pm. The customer gave chase to the suspects on Highway 59, all while on the phone with 911. At one point the suspects fired at the customer, narrowly missing his car.

"Alittle bit later, patrol officers were able to locate the vehicle. The driver refused to stop and the suspects did fire at officers," said Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department.

The officers were not hit. Two of the suspects jumped out of the getaway car as they were exiting 59 at1960. One of them was found in the bathroom of a Chilis. The other suspect was hiding out at a Shell gas station.

police were not able to track down the other two suspects. They got away in a silver or gray Nissan Altima.
