HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in October at an apartment complex in southwest Houston.

The suspect, police say, grabbed the woman while she was walking in an apartment complex parking lot in the 5400 block of Braesvalley Drive on October 12 around 3:00am. Authorities say the man covered her mouth, told her she was going to die, and then forced her into a closet where he sexually assaulted her.

The woman apparently survived and alerted police.

Anyone with information about this suspect is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

He's described as a black male between the ages of 20-25 years old with a dark complexion. Police say he has a deep voice with no apparent accent. He's estimated to be about 6' tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds. He has a thin, muscular build.
