Police: Robber shoots customer at Pasadena General Dollar store
A would-be robber is on the run after yet another incident at a Dollar General store.

PASADENA, TX (KTRK) -- It has happened again. Another Dollar General store is the scene of a violent robbery.

This time it happened just after 9pm on Southmore near Preston in Pasadena.

Pasadena police say the suspect walked into the store with a gun drawn and demanded cash. Inside, officers say two store employees and two customers watched as the tense situation grew violent.

"The suspect entered the store with a firearm, demanded money to the cashier," Sgt. Tom Warnke says.

"The cashier said she did not have access. Somewhere during the altercation, the customer was shot by the suspect a single time and transported to the hospital."

The suspect drove off in a black Chevy Cruze. The victim ran out of the store and over to a neighboring Autozone store.

The victim was shot in the shoulder, and was talking to police when the ambulance came.

Not much is known for the suspect except for he is described only as a tall, thin black male.
