Police interrupt Richmond home invasion

RICHMOND, TX (KTRK) -- The search is on for two men who barged into a home in Richmond last night.

It happened around 10:30pm in the River Park West community at a home on Parsley Mist near Baron Sky.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the suspects triggered the alarm at the home. Deputies were on scene within minutes and, at some point, shot at the suspects.

The suspects were not hit and were able to get away. The sheriff's office and an HPD chopper spent hours looking for the men.
