The Austin County Sheriff's Office released this dash cam video showing the traffic stop on Thursday

AUSTIN, TX (KTRK) -- Law enforcement agencies are demanding an apology from State Representative Garnet Coleman over comments he made after a traffic stop.

The Texas Municipal Police Association released dash cam video of Coleman's stop last month. They say it refutes his account that the officer was "rude and nasty," and that he was treated "like a boy."

Coleman made those comments at a committee on county affairs hearing.

Coleman was stopped on I-10 in Austin County for going 94 miles per hour in a state vehicle. He was let go with a warning.

On Thursday, we spoke with Representative Coleman, who says he sticks by his actions and doesn't believe he did anything wrong.
