POLICE: Child found wandering alone near Westheimer

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police say a child was found wandering alone in southwest Houston.

Investigators are still trying to find out who he is. There was no immediate word on the boy's age.

So far, all we know is the boy was found around 10am at 2904 South Gessner at Winsome Lane, which is just a few blocks from Westheimer Road.

He was wearing a black shirt and gray shorts when he was found.

This is a very active police scene as police try to find who takes care of this boy.
