Police chase ends in crash in north Houston; 2 in custody

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A police chase in north Houston this morning ended in a crash. And now two suspects are in custody.

It all started as a traffic stop along Hardy and Collingsworth around 9:30am. The suspects took off and led police on the pursuit which ended with the suspectds hitting several parked vehicles, including a police cruiser, on Airline and Berry Road.

At one point during the 30-minute chase, the driver was traveling on sidewalks. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The suspects appear to be in their late teens to early 20s. It's still unclear why they fled.
