Police chase ends in accident on Eastex Freeway in downtown Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- All southbound lanes on the Eastex Freeway near the George R. Brown Convention Center were shut down after a police chase ended in a two-vehicle accident. The lanes reopened just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
One suspect is in custody.
No other details have been released.
