Police chase ends east of downtown
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A police chase ended in east downtown at Scott and Polk this morning.
Police say it all started as a traffic stop around 7:40am in the 3400 block of Rosa Lee, but when the two suspects didn't stop, officers gave chase. The pursuit through neighborhoods around the University of Houston and across the Gulf Freeway lasted for 10 minutes.

The duo eventually bailed out of their car and were taken into custody shortly after on Scott at Polk. the suspects are currently in jail.
