Massive nearly 15-foot gator killed in Florida

VENUS, FL (KTRK) -- There are gators. And then there are GATORS!

Check out the monster gator that was captured in Florida earlier this month. Outwest Farms, Inc. posted a photo of the nearly 15-foot gator that was killed during a guided gator hunt in Florida.

According to Outwest Farms, the monster gator was the largest ever caught there.

The photo started to go viral after being posted, and as of Tuesday afternoon, it had been shared more than 2,600 times.

This is the second time an alligator has been in the news lately. On Monday, we posted about an rare alligator at the Houston Zoo that was getting a new home.
