Investigators say they're searching for person of interest - known only as "Chirp" - in the killing of a 12 year old

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators say they're searching for person of interest - known only as "Chirp" - in the shooting death of 12-year-old Deunte "Bubba" Cooks yesterday in northwest Harris County.

Deunte was shot and killed at 12:50pm at a home in the 2500 block of Bammelwood Drive.

Two others -- 23-year-old Dashawn Norwood and 18-year-old Rogerious Grant - were also shot. Norwood was shot multiple times and fled the scene to a nearby neighbor's house for help. Grant suffered a graze wound. Both were sent to the hospital. Norwood was in critical condition. Grant was treated and released. All three shooting victims are believed to be related.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit is investigating this offense.
