Pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in southwest Houston has died, police tell Eyewitness News.

The accident happened just after 5:00am this morning in the 6500 block of W Bellfort at Larkwood.

The entire intersection is closed while police investigate. Traffic is being diverted through the parking lots.
