Pearland chase ends in Manvel; 3 taken to hospital

MANVEL (KTRK) -- A police chase in Pearland ended in a violent crash in Manvel in the early morning hours Saturday, according to officers.

Three people inside a Mustang were hurt when it hit an unoccupied parked van and a tree near Terra Bella and Rodeo Drive off 288 in Manvel.

Two people from the vehicle were air-lifted to hospitals and the third was driven by ambulance.

Officers worked for hours to reconstruct the accident scene and collect evidence.

It's not clear what started the chase.
