HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A child was hit by a car crossing a busy north Harris County street on his bike.
Investigators with Precinct Four Constables Office tell us around 8:45pm Thursday, the boy was crossing FM 1960 near Kenswick when a man driving a silver Honda hit him.
He was flown by Lifeflight to Memorial Hermann Hospitall. No word on his condition.
One woman who stopped to help him says he was unresponsive.
Investigators haven't identified the boy.
The driver of the Honda stayed at the scene and underwent a field sobriety test, which is protocol in these types of accidents.
