One person shot during northwest Harris County home invasion

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Sheriff deputies are investigating a home invasion that led to a shooting in northwest Harris County.

Deputies say three robbers barged their way into a trailer-home on Cora near West Mount Houston. Several people, including juveniles, were inside the home at the time.

The intruders then shot a man at the home, deputies say. That victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The gunmen then got away. Deputies believe this was an attempted robbery, but it is unclear if they actually took anything.
