Off-duty HPD officer injured in motor vehicle accident outside Missouri City school

An off-duty HPD officer working an extra job was injured in a motor vehicle accident outside a school in Missouri City.

The incident happened outside Olympia Middle School in the 3100 block of Lake Olympia Parkway.

Authorities did not provide any details regarding the circumstances of what happened, saying only that they're working the scene as a motor vehicle accident.

The officer was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
