HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police say a cashier was shot twice during a robbery at a convenience store in northwest Houston.
According to police, two masked men with guns entered the food store off Gessner and Eddystone Drive and ordered customers to the ground.
Police say when the cashier locked the doors of the store, one of the suspects shot him in the shoulder and in the abdomen.
The suspects then shot the locked glass doors and fled the scene.
The cashier was taken to the hospital, where he is under going surgery but is expected to be OK.
Investigators say the shooting was caught on surveillance video so they'll be reviewing the footage. null
