Northwest Houston convenience store robbery ends in shooting

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police say a cashier was shot twice during a robbery at a convenience store in northwest Houston.[br /][br /]According to police, two masked men with guns entered the food store off Gessner and Eddystone Drive and ordered customers to the ground.[br /][Ads /][br /]Police say when the cashier locked the doors of the store, one of the suspects shot him in the shoulder and in the abdomen.[br /][br /]The suspects then shot the locked glass doors and fled the scene.[br /][br /]The cashier was taken to the hospital, where he is under going surgery but is expected to be OK.[br /][br /]Investigators say the shooting was caught on surveillance video so they'll be reviewing the footage.]
