Restaurants targeted in multiple robberies in Spring

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Since January, five restaurants and fast food places have been hit by armed robbers in Spring.

The latest robbery hit two local pizza restaurants.

"It's irritating, of course, as a business owner," Nick Cheairs said.

Lee McMillon has lived in the area for the last few years and says he's concerned about his wife's safety at night.

"We stay in a gated location, but we have people just driving through, casing the place out," he said. "And it's been pretty rough, you know, you can't get any sleep lately compared to years ago because you're constantly hearing police going up and down the street all the time chasing people."

There is no confirmation from police whether the cases are connected.
